The Woodstock Fashion Show Book was a class project where we were tasked with choosing a cultural and historical event to create a book around. I chose Woodstock 1969, a pivotal moment in music history, because of my deep passion for both music and fashion. Woodstock wasn't just a music festival; it was a defining event that captured the spirit of an entire generation, promoting peace, love, and freedom through music. The fashion at Woodstock was equally influential, with styles that reflected the individuality and rebellious nature of the attendees.

In this project, I aimed to highlight the link between the fashion of Woodstock and its broader cultural impact. The festival’s styles—bohemian, eclectic, and free-spirited—symbolized more than just clothing; they were a reflection of the social movements and counterculture of the time. The fashion became a statement of rebellion, individuality, and connection to nature, and I wanted to explore these themes through vibrant, engaging illustrations.
The book is designed for kids, teenagers, and adults alike—anyone who enjoys colorful visuals and a playful take on history. It’s filled with lively illustrations that capture the essence of Woodstock’s music and fashion, making it accessible and fun for younger readers, while also appealing to adults who appreciate fashion, music history, and bold, artistic design.
