For this project, I set out to capture the dynamic energy and vibrant culture of skateboarding in the heart of the city. The project is a visual exploration of how the urban landscape of Paris intersects with the fluid, expressive movements of skate culture. My goal was to create a series of images that celebrate the freedom and individuality of skaters while also highlighting the architectural beauty and unique vibe of the city.
The entire project was photographed in front of MAM Paris (Musée d'Art Moderne), a renowned spot where skateboarders from all around the world come to skate. This location provided the perfect backdrop for capturing the raw, candid moments of skaters in action. The contrast between the sleek museum architecture and the vibrant, chaotic energy of the skateboarders brought the project to life, highlighting the unique intersection of art, sport, and urban culture.
This project is more than just a visual project; it’s a celebration of a subculture that thrives on creativity, self-expression, and connection to the city. Through this project, I aimed to tell the story of skaters who bring life to the streets of Paris, blending sport, art, and culture in one of the world’s most iconic cities.
