Those illustrations are a personal exploration of nostalgia, inspired by a collection of old photos I found of my dad from when he was a teenager on a trip to Los Angeles with friends. The project allowed me to transform these moments into illustrations, capturing the carefree spirit and iconic aesthetic of the 1980s. The photos offered a glimpse into my dad’s youthful adventures, and I wanted to preserve that sense of excitement and freedom in the artwork.
