
This fictive project, Paws & Purrs, was created with a personal connection to the cause. As a cat owner, I’ve always been passionate about the well-being of animals, and seeing stray cats on the streets has always deeply moved me. It’s made me want to help and give these cats a better life. That’s why I decided to create a cat shelter brand that would resonate with people, raise awareness, and make a real impact.
In this project, I focused on creating a playful yet compassionate brand that reflects the warmth and care that every cat deserves. The name "Paws & Purrs" is meant to evoke feelings of love and comfort, which are central to the shelter’s mission of finding forever homes for cats in need.
The color palette was carefully chosen to be soft and inviting, with a combination of pastel hues and warm accents to reflect the friendly and approachable vibe of the shelter. I wanted to create a visual identity that would stand out, but also feel comforting and easy to connect with.
The logo design is minimal yet expressive, with simple cat illustrations that feel lighthearted and fun, echoing the shelter's mission of not just offering a home, but also creating lasting relationships between the cats and their adopters. The tagline "Adopt, Love, Purr" reinforces this message, highlighting the connection between adoption, love, and the joy of having a cat as a companion.
The branding extends across print materials, merchandise, and a potential website, offering a cohesive experience that connects the shelter’s mission with the audience in an engaging and impactful way.
Ultimately, this project was driven by my own love for animals and my desire to help those who may not have a voice, creating a brand that would attract support, encourage adoption, and highlight the importance of nurturing long-term relationships with our furry friends.
