For the A Weekend in Sinai project, I aimed to capture the raw beauty and serene atmosphere of the Sinai Peninsula through photography. The focus was on documenting the unique landscapes and tranquil moments that define the region, from its vast desert expanses to the calming shores of the Red Sea. My goal was to create a visual narrative that immerses the viewer in the peacefulness and adventure of a weekend spent in this remote and awe-inspiring location.
The photographs highlight the natural contrasts of Sinai—its golden dunes, rocky mountains, and crystal-clear waters. I sought to emphasize the tranquility of the environment, capturing quiet moments of solitude and reflection amidst the vastness of the desert. The warm, earthy tones of the sand and the deep blues of the sea create a striking color palette that reflects the unique atmosphere of the region.
